The Bulova Watch Company is a renowned American watchmaker with a rich history that spans over a century. The company was founded in 1875 by Joseph Bulova, a 23-year-old Czech immigrant, in New York City. Initially, Bulova focused on manufacturing and selling jewelry, including pocket watches. In the 1970s, the Bulova Watch Company faced financial challenges and went through a series of ownership changes until 2008 when Citizen Watch Co. Ltd. of Japan purchased the Bulova Watch Company and formed the Citizen Watch America subsidiary.

Today, Bulova continues to create a wide range of watches known for their precision, craftsmanship, and design. It still looks preserved in time! This is a vintage Bulova Carolyn Art Deco ladies wristwatch dated from 1935.
 
It is a manual wind watch powered by an original Bulova 15 jewel movement, caliber 6AF (based in FHF 5), adjusted, 34 hours power reserve, 18,000 A/h, U.S.A. made.
 
This watch still has the original champagne dial with gold Arabic Numerals, black “railroad” minute track and blue steel matching hands. The dial is also signed with the Bulova name/logo on top.
 
Cased in a gorgeous 16.5x27.7 asymmetric case featuring lug design with Art Deco engraved, all in 10K gold filled.

It comes with the original gold tone bracelet, 10K Gold filled that it will fit a wrist up to 6 1/4" (15.9 cm). Also, the watch is coming in an original Bulova display box.

This wristwatch in very good condition. Runs very well and keeps great time!

Vintage watches are traditionally smaller than today's watches. Men’s watches typically measure between 29-36mm wide (some larger, some smaller) excluding the crown. We prefer to shoot photographs outside when weather is permitting. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust lighting when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
