The Bulova Watch Company is a renowned American watchmaker with a rich history that spans over a century. In the 1970s, the Bulova Watch Company faced financial challenges and went through a series of ownership changes until 2008 when Citizen Watch Co. Ltd. of Japan purchased the Bulova Watch Company and formed the Citizen Watch America subsidiary.

Today, Bulova continues to create a wide range of watches known for their precision, craftsmanship, and design. Their collections include both classic and contemporary styles, offering quartz, automatic, and precisionist movements. One of the Bulova’s fines timepiece! This is a vintage Bulova His Excellency “CC” wristwatch dated from 1950.

It is a manual wind watch powered by an original Bulova 21-jewel movement, caliber 10BM, sub-second, 41 HOUR RESERVE, 18,000 A/h, U.S.A. made.

IN LOVELY CONDITION! This watch still has the original champagne dial with gold applied Arabic Numerals, railroad minute track and gold matching hands. The sub-second is located at 6 o’clock and the dial is also signed with the Bulova name and Excellency.

Cased in a gorgeous 25.5x33.7mm tonneau shape case featuring fancy lug design, all in 10K yellow gold filled. Also, fancy domed shape crystal that is in good condition as well. Original Bulova signed crown.

It comes on a new-old-stock black Kreisler two-piece Lizard Calf strap.

Vintage watches are traditionally smaller than today's watches. Men’s watches typically measure between 29-36mm wide (some larger, some smaller) excluding the crown. We prefer to shoot photographs outside when weather is permitting. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust lighting when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
